Nominations for the 2021 Summer Music Clinic now open

The Philharmonic Chorus of Madison is now accepting applications for scholarships for the 2021 Summer Music Clinic. Full scholarships to this clinic will be awarded to a number of high school students in the greater Madison area this year.

Each year, the Chorus provides local high school students who have an interest in choral music with full-price scholarships to the Summer Music Clinic at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Our hope is to encourage these students to continue their interest in music, whether as a career or simply as an avocation.

Scholarships are awarded based on merit. The scholarship panel reviews all applications, considering factors including the student’s resume and recommendation from their director, and chooses the winners to receive the scholarship.

This year, the UW Summer Senior Music Clinic will run in 3- day virtual sessions offering intensive online experiences.
