Google utilities
The Philharmonic Chorus of Madison uses the Google Suite for administrative & communication purposes. Emails to the chorus may be sent from madtownphillies@gmail.com to our Google group for active singers. Please be mindful and cautious with the Reply All functions - most messages do not require a reply to the full group. Thanks for your consideration on this point!
The business of running our chorus is managed by our Board of Directors, listed below. We thank them for ensuring we have a director, an accompanist, music and a place to rehearse; as well as venues, programs, wardrobe & receptions for concerts; awarding scholarships to local HS students; marketing and more!
For our upcoming elections, we invite people to get involved by nominating themselves or others for the electable board roles OR letting us know if any of the appointed roles are of interest. Elected roles include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, One-Year Director, Two-Year Director & Officer Emeritus. All elected and appointed job duties can be found here Philharmonic Chorus - Org Structure; feel free to reach out to a current board member with questions. The term runs July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.
While we have incumbents for some offices and appointed positions, your interest in any role is encouraged. At this time, there are specifically opportunities for President, Vice President, Secretary and 2-year Officer.
